EAI Systems · Project PhantomOps

From junior staff to agentic architects

PhantomOps is EAI Systems' answer to a simple question: what happens to a systems integrator when the platforms it built a business on start automating themselves?

Why we built this

Diversifying by proving it on ourselves first

EAI Systems has long been a Pega-centric systems integrator — but Pega itself is pivoting aggressively toward agentic AI, and concentration in a single platform is a risk in a market that's moving fast. Rather than wait, we chose to build our own agentic AI practice, and to prove it internally before selling it externally.

We started small: a team of four junior engineers, tasked with automating EAI's own Sales, Marketing and Operations functions using autonomous AI agents. That internal build — codenamed PhantomOps — became the case study we now bring to BFSI customers across the GCC.

Dogfooding, not marketing
Every capability we sell has first run inside our own business. Sally has drafted our own proposals; the Critic has reviewed our own documents. Even our point solutions started as internal tooling — PI Guard began as the privacy filter protecting Sally's own LLM calls, and Magic Reader grew out of OCR work on our own aged archives. We don't ask a customer to be the first to find the edge cases.
Principles

What we won't compromise on

Sovereign & private
Each agent runs on its own infrastructure with no inbound access. Customer data stays with the customer — never pooled into a shared multi-tenant model.
Auditable by design
Every action is logged, every answer is sourced. The LLM may suggest an action — deterministic code decides whether it happens.
Human-in-the-loop
Managers approve, agents draft. Every workflow has a review checkpoint before anything becomes a public-facing artefact.
Roadmap

From internal capability to regional product

Phase 1 — Done

Foundation & efficiency

  • Sally, Mark & Critic agents live
  • Document RAG & sovereign corporate brain
  • VM + email interface, persistent memory
  • Multi-provider LLM gateway
Phase 2 — Now

Multi-modal & fleet

  • Noor Arabic agent for the GCC
  • PI Guard, Magic Reader & Arabic NLP Processor productized
  • Explainer video & richer media
  • Autonomous bid pricing & clause analysis
  • Team of four running a 50+ agent fleet

From assistant to architect

PhantomOps started with four junior engineers experimenting with AI agents. They are now the leads of a new revenue line — Agentic AI Consulting — and the team building the fleet that runs it.
